Intel in Ireland
Since 1989, Intel has invested €30 billion in Ireland, creating Europe's most advanced industrial campus. The Ireland campus has led numerous process technology startups since the early 1990s. Most recently, Fab24 has been a critical location for the production of Intel’s 14nm silicon microprocessors whilst also preparing to support Intel’s foundry customers.
Ireland is part of Intel’s global manufacturing investment plans. Intel is investing €17 billion in Fab 34, a new development that will double the manufacturing capacity available in Ireland and enable the production of Intel 4, the company’s most advanced process technology.
